    Robin Williams

Post by Alex on Thu Aug 14, 2014 10:33 pm

By now you all know that he died, and I guess I wonder how you guys have handled it.

Personally, it's been hard for me to wrap my head around. He was a childhood hero of mine, and I saw his stand up show just a few months ago. It's crazy that he's just gone now. Like, it's almost hard for me to fully understand. It's been a really sad few days for me.

robin williams's death definitely came out of nowhere. i'd be lying if i said i was a huge fan or anything, since i don't really watch movies much, but it's just a depressing way for someone who was loved by so many people to go.

Definitely. It's been kind of heartbreaking to see tributes everywhere and people just flat out mourning a guy who brought a lot of joy into the world.

Robin was an idol of mine.. His comedy, the multi faceted characters he not only played but created. I cried a little, and I still have more tears to cry but I haven't found the right time to express them..

The world will not change from his death but it will never be the same.

Thanks for starting this thread, tat. His absence will be dent by me for years to come

There definitely was a point today where I almost cried. With each day it has become just a little bit more real to me. It feels like just yesterday I was a little kid watching Hook over and over again.

I am watching Hook right now.

Probably one of his most popular performances, but I intend to go through some of the lesser known films after this...

Robin Williams as a body may not be with us anymore, but when you watch his films you'll see that his spirit and mind will continue fighting the good fight. Laughter when shit seems fucked up because what can ya do..

This is a celebration of life..
