Things in media that I liked this year

    1) MMLP2
    2) GTA 5
    3) Catching Fire (hunger games 2)
    4) Star Trek 2
    5) Hyperbole and a Half's book(I've only skimmed through it, I'm not allowed to buy it cuz its prolly gonna be a christmas present to me, so no cheating..but i cheated a little..shit's great)

I don't really follow things in media anymore... I'm old. I don't know what came out this year, this year went by too fast, I didn't get to experience enough of this year. I'll try to think of more things to add, but I think I'm tapped out for right now.

I didn't really listen to many new albums this year, but whatever.

    1. Atoms For Peace - AMOK
    2. The Flaming Lips - The Terror
    3. Cage The Elephant - Melophobia
    4. Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
    5. Portugal. The Man - Evil Friends
    6. Phoenix - Bankrupt!
    7. Franz Ferdinand - Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action

Yep, top 7. Get at me. I meant to listen to Danny Brown's new album Old, but I forgot to. So whatever. The Flaming Lips also put out a great EP called Peace Sword not too long ago, but that's not an album so I'll just give it an honorable mention.

Alright I can do this right now. Albums are gonna be hard as fuck to narrow down though damn. Also I'm sure my list is going to look like I'm a 16 year old girl but I swear I'm not.

    Best Non-Kpop Albums 2013:

    1. Chance the Rapper - Acid Rap (Seriously still listening to this on the daily.)
    2. Drake - Nothing Was The Same (Some great music and some bangers.)
    3. Mree - Winterwell (Look her up on YouTube, an amazingly talented artist.)
    4. TOKiMONSTA - Half Shadows (Awesome LA beat scene artist.)
    5. A Day to Remember - Common Courtesy (One of my favorite bands of all time.)
    6. Ariana Grande - Yours Truly (Such a dynamic voice and she's hot yeah.)
    7. Selena Gomez - Stars Dance (Not as great a voice but way hotter sorry.)
    8. Vic Mensa - INNANETAPE (Save Money Crew & Chance affiliate and his tape was dope.)
    9. Krewella - Get Wet (I know a lot of people aren't into this type of EDM but I am so fuck it.)
    10. Pusha T - My Name is My Name & Katy Perry - Prism

    Kpop songs of 2013:

    1. SNSD/Girl's Generation - I Got a Boy (This song was polarizing, but I love it still.)
    2. 4Minute - Whatever (The beat drop kills me.)
    3. Crayon Pop - BarBarBar (Catchiest song of the year no doubt.)
    4. 2Yoon - Black Swan (Such a strong showing from two great voices.)
    5. Girl's Day - Expectation (Girl's Day is amazing.)
    6. SNSD/Girl's Generation - Beep Beep (I LOVE IT SO MUCH THE VIDEO IS SO COLORFUL.)
    7. Girl's Day - Female President (See above.)
    8. GLAM - I Like That (Sucks that they've released so few tracks, hope 2014 is good to them.)
    9. Sistar - A Girl in Love (Hyorin and Bora and Soyou and Dasom.)
    10. Lee Hi - It's Over (She's only 16 though so I'm not allowed to find her attractive.)

    Movies of 2013:

In no particular order and subject to change:

    1. The Place Beyond the Pines
    2. Upstream Color
    3. Out of the Furnace
    4. The Spectacular Now
    5. Only God Forgives
    6. Beautiful Creatures
    7. Drinking Buddies
    8. 42
    9. Trance
    10. The Bling Ring

    Dat formatting tho

    Shows I watched in 2013:

    Dexter
    Walking Dead
    Breaking Bad
    Big Bang Theory
    Survivor
    AGT
    Burn Notice
    Psych
    IT Crowd
    Mythbusters
    Adventure Time
    Dr Who
    Oddities
    Masterchef Jr
    South Park
    Royal Pains
    Glee
    Mike & Molly
    Big Brother
    Amazing Race

And those are just the ones I watched regularly... Maybe I watch too much TV. I happen to be their target demographic I think, so they're doing an alright job.
