Post by Alex on Sun Jul 07, 2013 12:47 am

Finally, a place where I can indulge my mild obsession with making lists of the music I'm listening to at the time.
It's not OCD, folks! I got tested.
Oh yeah, other people can add their own list if they so feel compelled

TATEOS'S LIST OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF THE YEAR THUS FAR:
    Artist--Album
    1. Vampire Weekend--Modern Vampires of the City
    2. Portugal. The Man--Evil Friends
    3. Kanye West--Yeezus
    4. Sigur Ros--Kveikur
    5. The Flaming Lips--The Terror

[and yes, i have heard more than five albums that were released this year

TATEOS'S LIST OF THE SONGS THAT HE CURRENTLY CONSIDERS THE BEST:
[this is not a scientific list, this is highly subjective and makes no attempt at finding an objective ordering. not that opinions can be objective, anyway]
    Artist--Song
    1. The Beatles--A Day In the Life
    2. Talking Heads--Once In a Lifetime
    3. Neil Young--Tell Me Why
    4. Radiohead--Paranoid Android
    5. Wilco--Jesus, etc.
    6. Kanye West--Power
    7. U2--Where the Streets Have No Name
    8. Pink Floyd--Comfortably Numb
    9. The Beatles--Happiness is a Warm Gun
    10. Bob Dylan--Tangled Up In Blue

BANDS THAT TATEOS HAS BEEN LISTENING TO LATELY:
    *Vampire Weekend
    *Animal Collective
    *Arcade Fire
    *Neutral Milk Hotel
    *The Smashing Pumpkins
    *Portugal. The Man
    *Radiohead

ahh, cathartic list-making. ish. not really.

Good point jon, this time could be spent opening the camera program, biting a hat, and posting it... took me 2 minutes to eat my hat and a minute of that was spent looking for my hat :P

Also, tat, good list. I enjoy quite a few of those albums.

Around 15, not counting the ones I've shared with Ptero, Klik, and Walkinator on Steam.

     BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I used to have Garbage's self titled album there, and then i realized that I liked Yeezus a bit more (in retrospect maybe not though), and I just never changed the date.

The thread title is false advertisement. There's not a single musical listed here!
